Superintendent (Federal / Military Construction)
TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Greater San Diego County Area on their search for a Superintendent to work on Federal/Military based construction projects ranging in value up to $50 M.
The Superintendent will be the lead responsible for looking after the active job site. They will also take part in mentoring staff and ensuring the entire team works together efficiently to complete the project safely, on time, and on budget.
Job Title: Superintendent (Federal/Military) (6+ years)
Project Types: Federal, Military, BEQ`s, Hangars, USACE, NAVFAC, USAF
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform all typical Superintendent duties
- Oversee Active Jobsite
- Keep the project on schedule
- Oversee Subcontractors and all work On-Site
- Ensure that Safety is kept at Utmost Importance
- Hold Meetings with Subcontractors to Ensure Schedule and daily work and deliveries are understood
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
- Help develop safety plans and implement safety procedures
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management
Skills & Qualification:
- 6+ years as Superintendent for a reputable general contractor(s).
- Federal and Military construction experience
- Ability to travel as needed for Projects
- Team player brings a positive attitude to get the job done
