Tiello has partnered with a nationally recognized Security Systems Integrator in search of a Senior Service Technician to join its Salem, NH team. The Senior Service Technician will play a key role in leading complex security system projects, providing advanced expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of integrated security solutions. This position also involves mentoring junior technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and supporting system testing, commissioning, and maintenance efforts across a variety of customer sites.
Project Types: Hospitals, Schools/ Universities, Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use, Retail, Tenant Improvements, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, install, and support video surveillance and access control systems across diverse client environments.
- Install and configure hardware devices including readers, electric locks, exit devices, power supplies, and cabling.
- Program and configure access control and IP-based video systems.
- Maintain current manufacturer certifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced and integrated security platforms.
- Provide technical support for escalated service requests and complex system issues.
- Conduct system inspections to verify operational performance and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices, installation standards, and troubleshooting methods.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and field teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for installations, maintenance, and service procedures.
- Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and emerging technologies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred.
- Valid drivers license
- MA Low Voltage license is preferred.
- 5 years minimum of experience in servicing or installing security systems.
- Proficiency or certifications in platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, Brivo, Feenics, American Dynamics, or Verkada highly preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support junior or apprentice technicians.
