Tiello is working with a top mechanical contractor in Southern California that is actively hiring an experienced Refrigeration Foremen to lead high-performance field crews on multiple commercial and industrial job sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a working foremen with at least 10 years of refrigeration experience. You’ll oversee projects from the field, manage journeymen and apprentices, and ensure safe, code-compliant execution across high-profile builds.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise crews of up to 10 field techs (JM + apprentices)
- Coordinate with project managers and construction leads to meet timelines
- Oversee installation of refrigeration systems, racks, piping, valves, and electrical tie-ins
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, union protocols, and quality benchmarks
- Serve as the on-site leader and technical expert for refrigeration installations
What We`re Looking For:
- 10+ years of hands-on refrigeration experience (commercial or industrial)
- Proven leadership of field crews on multiple job sites
- Working foreman mindset - leads from the front
- Union member (Local 250) or open to sponsorship
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and jobsite logistics
