Company Overview:
Tiello is partnered with a leading low-voltage and technology infrastructure contractor based in North Carolina in their search for a Low Voltage Technician to support commercial construction projects throughout the Greensboro region.
Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in commercial low-voltage installations, specifically pulling cable and installing conduit in active construction environments. This role involves working with construction teams to install, route, and support structured cabling systems to project specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
- Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.) in commercial construction settings
- Install, bend, and secure EMT and PVC conduit per plans and building codes
- Read and interpret construction drawings, risers, and cable routing diagrams
- Assist with installing cable pathways such as J-hooks, ladders, trays, and supports
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure proper labeling of all cabling
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively with electricians, GC teams, and project managers on-site
- Follow safety policies, OSHA rules, and site-specific protocols
- Troubleshoot basic cabling issues and assist with test/verification procedures
- Communicate progress, delays, and material needs to supervisors
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience pulling cable and installing conduit in a construction environment
- Familiarity with NEC and industry low-voltage installation standards
- Ability to read blueprints or construction documents (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in overhead spaces
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
