Location: Monroe, NC
Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Tiello has partnered with a leading design-build refrigeration contractor specializing in commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment. Their products support essential industries such as grocery, food processing, cold storage, pharmaceuticals, and specialty facilities that rely on advanced temperature-controlled systems. We are looking for an Industrial Project Manager to join this growing team.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, execution, safety, subcontractor coordination, and field progress across industrial construction projects, including cold storage environments and specialized building systems. This role requires strong estimating ability, schedule control, financial management, and effective communication with both field and office personnel.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of professional experience in Project Management within industrial or large-scale construction
• Experience preparing estimates and evaluating project cost impacts
• Familiarity with cold storage construction methods, equipment integration, safety standards, and installation practices
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage project budgets including labor, materials, subcontractor scope, and change order pricing
• Monitor costs throughout all project phases and maintain accurate forecasting and financial reporting
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, proposals, and contract documentation to ensure scope accuracy
• Prepare, track, and maintain all necessary project documentation including schedules, reports, billing, RFIs, submittals, and progress communication
• Visit job sites regularly to coordinate manpower, material needs, and installation progress
• Attend project meetings, lead schedule conversations, and provide consistent updates to stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor partnerships, ensuring alignment on scope, expectations, and safety
• Support field leadership and craft teams to maintain progress, resolve barriers, and uphold project standards
• Promote a safety-first culture and participate in all required safety protocols and compliance activities
• Assist internal teams with relationship management, client interaction, and business development initiatives
• Support continuous improvement by recommending ways to enhance project delivery, quality, and communication

• Understanding of industrial construction sequencing, workflows, and cross-department collaboration
• Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft 365, and estimating platforms
• Relationship-focused with proven ability to manage subcontractor and client expectations
• Professional presence, strong follow-through, and alignment with company values
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and access elevated work areas as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with regularity
• Comfortable working on active job sites and in office settings
• Ability to sit for extended periods when completing administrative or computer tasks
