Job Title: Project Manager (Structural Steel Erecting)

Location: Remote Office Environment; Required to travel to job sites throughout the Southeast (NC, SC, VA, GA, GL, DC) as least 2 days per week

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000

Company Overview:

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Structural Steel Erector in the Southeast on their search for a Project Manager to focus on work in the Structural Steel sector, managing projects ranging in scope from $500K - $5M, with some selected projects valued at $10M.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing structural steel erecting projects and will be responsible for reviewing bids, issue purchase orders / subcontract agreements, supervise field personnel, coordinate with other trades / subcontractors / fabricators, and monitor job sites.

Project Type:

New Construction, structural steel erecting projects - Airports, High-Rise, Stadiums, Retail, Office Buildings, Hotels, Multifamily, Arenas, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews bid estimates for completeness
• Reviews with the job foreman the Project Specific Erection Plan
• Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements 
• Orders material as needed 
• Coordinates with other trades, subcontractors, and fabricator 
• Monitors weekly production / project performance 
• Monitors safety at the job site
• Ensures the job is built in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications 
• Ensures the project is completed within the project estimate 
• Tracks the job’s progress

Qualifications/Requirements:

• MUST be willing and able to work in a remote setting (your home)
• MUST be willing and able to travel to job sites across the Southeast at least(min) of 2x days per week
• MUST be accountable and able to manage multiple projects at a time
• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
• 5+ years Managing projects for reputable General Contractors/Subcontractors
• Managing Structural Steel Erecting projects up to $10M
• Proficient in Sage, Bluebeam, Trimble, SFO, Procore, MS Office Products
• Willingness to travel or pass background/drug screen
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must have a clean driving record
