Compensation: $150k - $180k Competitive Base Salary + Profit-Share Incentive Structure

Company Overview
Tiello is partnered with an established and financially strong Commercial Roofing Contractor in Northern Arizona in their search for a General Manager to lead their Flagstaff branch.
This branch is currently operating at approximately $20M in annual volume, with strong margins, controlled overhead, and consistent profitability. The foundation is solid — the next leader will be responsible for scaling the operation while protecting execution quality and culture.
This is a true leadership opportunity with full business ownership.
Role Summary
The General Manager will own full P&L performance, operational leadership, hiring strategy, and local market expansion.
This is not a “seat filler” or maintenance role. The ideal candidate will bring an ownership mindset and take the branch from stable and profitable to strategically scaled and market-leading — without sacrificing safety, quality, or margin discipline.

Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage full branch Profit & Loss, including forecasting and financial performance
- Drive revenue growth while protecting gross margins and job cost performance
- Monitor and control overhead, staffing structure, and operational efficiency
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Northern Arizona market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, and institutional clients
- Lead branch operations to ensure projects are completed safely, profitably, and on schedule
- Hire, mentor, and develop field and office leadership (PMs, Supers, Foremen, Admin)
- Create a culture of accountability, execution, and safety compliance
- Partner with executive leadership on performance targets and long-term growth initiatives
- Manage logistical challenges related to regional and reservation-based work environments
- Protect brand reputation and ensure high customer satisfaction standards
- Structure the team based on strengths/weaknesses (balancing sales leadership and operational horsepower)
Market & Territory Considerations
A meaningful portion of work may take place in surrounding areas, including reservation projects. These projects can require:
- Unique labor ratio and local hiring requirements
- Increased oversight and leadership presence
- Awareness of workforce turnover and staffing reliability
- Proactive theft prevention and logistical planning
The right leader must be realistic about these conditions and able to operate with structure, discipline, and sound judgment.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 7+ years of leadership experience in Commercial Roofing
- Proven experience managing a business unit, branch, or major operating segment
- Strong understanding of P&L ownership, job costing, forecasting, and margin protection
- Experience leading hiring, accountability, and performance management in a field-heavy environment
- Ability to work in and support projects throughout Northern Arizona
- Eligible to work in the United States
