Job Title: Traveling Structural Steel Erection Superintendent
Location: Remote/Travel; Southeast/East Coast
Compensation: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour + OT paid for hours worked over 40 weekly (averages 15 hours of OT weekly)

Company Overview:
Tiello has partnered with a well-established Structural Steel Erector on their search for a Traveling Superintendent who has experience managing large-scale structural steel erection projects.
Role Summary:
As a Superintendent, you will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality of work, and sub-contractor and supplier coordination. You will work in conjunction with the project manager to lead the project team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Completion of OSHA 10 or 30 Hours for the construction industry
- Safety standards knowledge and enforcement
- Ability to remain calm, focused and effective under time pressure situations
- Self-starter with the ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Possess an understanding of building plans and specifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook) a plus
- Adaptability/Flexibility
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Work well under stress
- Ability to handle situations involving sensitive and confidential company information
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to perform duties independently, as well as others
- Ability to manage people of all ethnic and educational backgrounds
- First Aid and CPR Certification a Plus
Qualifications / Requirements:
- At least 5 years of Superintendent experience within the structural steel erection industry
- Strong understanding of erection processes, shop workflow, and project lifecycle
- Working knowledge of TEKLA EPM software
- Blue Beam/MS Office Products
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
