Job Title: Commercial Roofing Sales / Business Development Manager

Location: Tampa, FL

Compensation: Base salary of $95K-$110K + commissions + car allowance/fuel card + benefits

As a Commercial Roofing Sales / Business Development Manager , you will lead sales and market expansion efforts in the Tampa Bay area. This is a hunter-focused, B2B role responsible for developing new business, expanding market share, and building a long-term portfolio of commercial accounts.

The ideal candidate has a proven background selling commercial re-roofing projects in a fast-paced construction environment and thrives on relationship-building, prospecting, and closing complex opportunities—particularly within HOA, condominium, and institutional markets. This position comes with full estimating and project support, allowing you to focus on closing business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a territory-specific sales strategy to increase market share and revenue
Identify, evaluate, and qualify new business opportunities aligned with company objectives
Drive new customer acquisition through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools to track activity, forecast revenue, and drive velocity
Work closely with technical sales and estimating teams to communicate client needs and support accurate, competitive proposals
Maintain and grow long-term commercial client relationships with a strong focus on service, referrals, and repeat business
Participate in and lead strategic opportunity reviews for key pursuits
Plan and participate in marketing outreach, industry meetings, and trade shows as required
Coordinate project consultations, cost estimates, and internal resources to support sales efforts
Participate in post-job financial reviews and track performance metrics
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of commercial construction or industrial sales experience (roofing strongly preferred)
Proven success selling commercial re-roofing projects
Experience working with HOAs, condominium associations, commercial owners, or municipalities
Demonstrated ability to grow market share in a competitive environment
Strong hunter mentality with a tenacious drive to win new business
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment
Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools
Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach
