Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 Base

Company Overview:
Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable and growing AISC Certified Structural Steel Fabricator in the Salt Lake City, UT area on their search for a Business Development Representative. This company supports a wide range of commercial and industrial construction projects and is seeking a relationship-driven sales professional to help expand their presence throughout the region.
Role Summary:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting long-term revenue growth. This individual will work closely with contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders while representing the company across key markets. This is a travel-focused role, with approximately two weeks per month spent visiting clients and projects throughout Utah and surrounding states.

Structural Steel / Construction / Industrial Projects
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and industry partners
- Identifies and pursues new project opportunities within regional markets
- Travels regularly to client offices, job sites, and industry events
- Coordinates with estimating and operations teams to support proposals and bids
- Tracks market activity, project pipelines, and competitive landscape
- Supports negotiation and closing of new business opportunities
- Maintains consistent communication with internal teams regarding client needs and forecasts
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 3+ years of business development / sales experience within construction, steel (fabrication), or related industries
- Strong understanding of structural steel or construction project environments preferred
- Comfortable with regional travel (approximately 2 weeks per month)
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new opportunities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven with ability to work independently
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
