Compensation: $35.00 per hour

Tiello has partnered with a leading General Contractor in the Broward County, FL area who is seeking a Service Technician/Carpenter to join their team who has experience with warranty/service work with Commercial/Hospitality Construction Projects.
Position Summary: Responsible for hands-on installs and repairs to warranty work, carpentry work, service work, and small projects by performing some of the following duties: installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment or systems at job sites or within company facilities. This role requires technical proficiency, carpentry, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Projects: Commercial Construction/Restaurant/Hospitality
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment or systems according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards, to include painting, carpentry, waterproofing, demolition, and other labor, as needed.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Document service and installation activities using service reports and records
- Provide technical support and training to customers, ensuring proper use of equipment
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and functional condition
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
- Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and service techniques through training and certifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma or associate degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building construction trades
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver`s license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks
