Job Title: Commercial Roofing Service Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $80,000 – $115,000 Base
- Bonus (typically based on service department revenue, margin, and client retention)

Company Overview:
Tiello is partnered with a well-established Commercial Roofing Contractor based in the Charlotte, NC region in their search for a Commercial Roofing Service
Department Manager to lead and grow their service division across Maryland and the surrounding markets.
This contractor is known for strong client relationships, repeat business, and a solid reputation in TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, coatings, and leak investigation/repair.
Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial roofing service experience (with at least 2+ years in leadership) and will be responsible for managing service crews, estimating service work, overseeing department financials, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. This role is perfect for someone who understands service operations and wants to build and scale a high-performing department.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and crew performance
- Estimate service repairs, leak calls, inspections, and small reroof scopes
- Manage 3–8 service technicians and foremen across multiple projects
- Conduct roof inspections and create repair scopes for clients
- Develop maintenance program proposals and client-facing presentations
- Monitor department P&L, invoicing, margins, and financial performance
- Ensure safety compliance, QA/QC, and proper documentation on all service jobs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, owners, and facility teams
- Review completed work for quality and ensure timely closeout of service tickets
- Lead weekly service meetings and provide ongoing training to field staff
- Support business development through site visits, reporting, and customer follow-up
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial roofing service experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience (Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Senior Tech, or similar)
- Strong background in TPO, PVC, EPDM, coatings, and leak diagnostics
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- Ability to pass background/drug screen
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to estimate service work confidently and accurately
