Waterproofing/ Restoration Sales Manager
Sales Manager – Commercial Construction / Waterproofing
Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: $95,000 - $100,000 base salary + performance bonuses
About the Role
Tiello is partnering with a growing and highly respected commercial construction and waterproofing contractor to identify a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager in Austin, TX. This role is a foundation-building opportunity for a motivated sales professional looking to establish strong relationships with owners, property managers, consulting engineers, and key decision-makers throughout the commercial construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with owners, property managers, consulting engineers, and industry partners
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new customers and commercial project opportunities through prospecting and networking
• Generate new business through outbound lead generation, research initiatives, networking events, and direct customer engagement
• Qualify inbound leads and coordinate internal resources to accelerate the sales process
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to execute business development initiatives and attend industry events, conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and presentations
• Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s service offerings and effectively communicate the company’s competitive advantages and value proposition
• Build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and maintain long-term client relationships
• Track sales activity, opportunities, pipeline metrics, and business development KPIs within CRM systems
• Perform building take-offs and gather project information to support estimating efforts
• Coordinate with estimating teams to prepare proposals, pricing packages, and project documentation
• Present proposals and assist in project negotiations with prospective clients
• Represent the company at networking and industry functions
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction, waterproofing, or related industries
• Proven success in business development, account management, and opportunity qualification
• Strong understanding of sales strategy, pipeline management, and relationship development
• Experience working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and proposal preparation
• Ability to read basic drawings, specifications, and gather project details from job sites
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated, action-oriented, and driven to win new business opportunities
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally for meetings, training, and industry events
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer relationship skills
