Position Overview

Tiello is partnered with a nationally active commercial general contractor seeking a Traveling Superintendent with strong experience in structural steel and concrete mixed-use construction. This role is ideal for a senior field leader who can independently run large, ground-up urban projects and manage complex structural scopes from start to finish.This position supports high-profile mixed-use developments and offers long-term assignments, national travel, and exposure to technically demanding builds.

Project Focus

• High-rise mixed-use developments
• Structural steel and cast-in-place concrete construction
• Urban podium and vertical builds
• Large ground-up commercial projects

Typical Project Size: $50M–$200M+

Project Duration: Long-term assignments

Delivery: Ground-up structural construction

Experience Required

• 8–12+ years of Superintendent experience
• Proven leadership on structural steel and concrete projects
• Experience running large mixed-use or high-rise builds
• Strong knowledge of sequencing structural work
• Ability to manage large subcontractor teams
• Experience with urban logistics and complex site coordination
• Stable work history
• Comfortable traveling nationwide

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations from mobilization through closeout
• Manage structural sequencing and critical path scheduling
• Coordinate steel, concrete, and major trade partners
• Maintain site safety and quality standards
• Drive schedule adherence and problem-solving
• Partner with project management and ownership teams
• Maintain an organized, high-performance jobsite
