Job Title: Commercial Roofing Safety Coordinator

Location: San Antonio, TX

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 base salary + benefits (DOE)

Overview

Tiello is partnered with a well-established commercial roofing contractor in the San Antonio market that is actively looking to add a Safety Coordinator to support field operations and strengthen an already solid safety culture.

This role will work closely with project teams, superintendents, and leadership to ensure compliance, training, and jobsite safety across commercial roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards across active commercial roofing projects
• Conduct regular jobsite safety audits, inspections, and field observations
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for field crews
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and corrective action plans
• Partner with field leadership to proactively identify and mitigate jobsite safety risks
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Serve as a safety resource for project managers, superintendents, and crews

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a safety role within commercial roofing or construction
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements
• Experience conducting safety trainings and jobsite audits
• Ability to communicate clearly and work closely with field teams
• OSHA 30 required (OSHA 510/500 a plus)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local jobsites
