Job Title: Commercial Roofing General Superintendent
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $110,000–$140,000 base + project completion bonuses
About the Role
Tiello LLC is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing commercial roofing contractor in the Dallas market to hire a Senior Commercial Roofing General Superintendent.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing multiple large-scale commercial production projects, with direct responsibility for managing 4+ Superintendents, driving field performance, and ensuring strong financial outcomes across the portfolio. This role requires a leader who understands Commercial Roofing production, safety and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Project & Financial Oversight
- Oversee multiple commercial roofing production projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Maintain full accountability for project financial performance, including labor efficiency, material usage, and cost control
- Partner with leadership to ensure projects meet or exceed margin expectations
Leadership & Team Management
- Directly manage and mentor 4+ Superintendents, holding them accountable for schedule adherence, productivity, and job cost performance
- Establish consistent production standards and best practices across all crews
Scheduling, Production & Resource Planning
- Develop and oversee manpower plans, production schedules, material procurement, and equipment allocation
- Forecast labor needs and proactively adjust staffing to maintain production targets
Financial & Cost Control (Core Focus)
- Monitor job cost reports, labor productivity, and production metrics
- Identify cost overruns early and implement corrective actions
- Reduce waste, rework, and inefficiencies to protect margins
- Support forecasting and budgeting efforts with accurate field data
Safety & Compliance
- Champion safety culture and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols across all job sites
- Conduct regular safety audits and field leadership reviews
Quality Control & Risk Management
- Perform high-level jobsite inspections to ensure workmanship meets company, manufacturer, and warranty standards
- Minimize financial risk tied to rework, warranty exposure, and schedule delays
Client, Vendor & Stakeholder Relations
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal leadership
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to align pricing, schedules, and production goals
Reporting & Documentation
- Provide leadership with clear reporting on production status, costs, schedules, and risk exposure
- Ensure accurate documentation across projects for budgeting, forecasting, and closeout
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of commercial roofing experience
- Proven experience overseeing 4+ Superintendents and multiple concurrent projects
- Strong background in commercial production roofing
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including job cost control, labor forecasting, and margin protection
- Ability to read and act on job cost reports, budgets, and production metrics
- Deep knowledge of TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Metal roofing systems
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
