Project Executive (Ground-Up Commercial Construction)
Location: Long Beach, CA
Compensation: $200,000 – $240,000

Company Overview:
Tiello is partnered with a highly regarded Commercial General Contractor based in Long Beach, CA, in their search for a Project Executive (Ground-Up Commercial Construction) to lead and oversee a team focused on Ground-Up Commercial Construction Projects ranging in value up to $30 M.
Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience coming up as a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive in the Commercial Construction Industry and will be responsible for leading teams producing successful Ground-Up Commercial, Office, Restaurant, Retail, Gas Station, and Tilt-Up Projects.

Job Responsibilities:
- Able to perform all essential Project Executive job responsibilities
- Ability to lead a team of 5-8 Project Managers, getting involved in high-level project based challenges
- Relationship development to ensure positive and professional client interactions, and the desire for repeat clients
- Manage project deliverables
- Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
- Work with Business Development to develop new or renewed client relationships
- Ensure that quality control meets Company standards.
- Ensure that each assigned project is run efficiently to maximize profitability, remains on schedule, and within budget
- Oversight of all Schedule Management by coordinating with all Personnel throughout the duration of the project to ensure the project is completed in compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation and development of proposals and final bid documentation.
- Estimate and establish budgets and contract price
- Establish and help maintain project schedules
- Perform constructability reviews, of proposed methods of construction, and construction details
- Oversee the project finances, keeping track of project budget, and utilized billings and changes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, preferred.
- 10+ year’s extensive construction experience in all facets of the project and in safety/preconstruction/staff development, project deliverables, and retention/customer interaction.
- 10+ years experience as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager managing Ground-Up Commercial Construction Projects ranging in value up to $30 M
- Knowledge of construction practices and trades
- Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook other tools used for communication purposes
- Must have the ability to work independently, be self-directed, and able to take the initiative in seeking efficiencies of processes
