Company Overview

Tiello is partnered with a nationally recognized commercial roofing contractor seeking an experienced OTR CDL Driver (Class A) to support their growing operations. This role is essential in ensuring materials are delivered to large-scale commercial job sites across the country safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a full-time, over-the-road position requiring frequent nationwide travel and flexibility with hours.

Position Summary

The OTR CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely transportation of roofing materials to job sites nationwide. This role includes unloading materials, coordinating with on-site personnel, and supporting yard and warehouse operations when needed. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, travel-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely to transport materials to job sites nationwide.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring secure and damage-free handling.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely logs for deliveries, mileage, and fuel in systems such as CompanyCam, Dataforma, and Motive.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and job site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and internal company policies.
• Support yard and warehouse organization when required.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company’s values on every job site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CDL driving experience required.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Prior roofing or construction industry experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel nationwide without restriction.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends based on production needs.
