Title: Carpenter ( Focus on Interiors Construction)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Salary Range: $70K-$80K plus Bonus

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor/Construction Manager in the Philadelphia, PA area on their search for a Carpenter for Retail, Restaurants, Corporate Offices, Higher Ed and Healthcare projects up to $25MM.

Title: Carpenter ( Focus on Interiors Construction)

Market Experience: Healthcare, Education, Corporate Office, Retail, Non-Profits, Restaurants & Hospitality

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Framing of Walls – Confirm comfort level with wood or metal studs  
  • Hanging of Drywall  
  • Tape and Spackle of Drywall – Touch, and small jobs.  
  • Installation of Doors, Frames, Hardware Installation of ACT Grid and ACT Tile.  
  • Touch up Paint 
  • General Repairs at job Sites. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and building codes.  
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to provide directions to the project team and address any issues or concerns.  
  • Review submittal, RFI and all project logs with the assistance of an Assistant Project Manager.  
  • Foster strong relationships and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. 
  •  Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and successful project closeout.  
  • Manage relationship with City of Philadelphia L&I for permits and inspections. 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Construction Technology Degree. Carpentry Trade School Degree. 
  • Carpentry Apprenticeship Program; and/or: 1-10 years` of relevant experience in the Construction Industry  
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, interior finishes, and materials. Strong organizational skills & Team Player.  
  • Experience with Procore and completion of online certification training is a plus. Can be performed on site.  
  • Ability to forecast project challenges and define solutions to maintain quality, schedule and budget within project requirements.  
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally. 
  •  Passion for learning new skills and working in a team setting. Strong team player and problem solver. 
  •  OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 (OSHA 30 can be taken on the job if you do not already have it)
