Company Overview:

Tiello is partnered with a highly regarded Speciality Underground Utility Contractor based in Phoenix, AZ, in their search for a Senior Project Engineer (Wet Underground Utilities).

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Underground Utility, Civil, or Heavy Civil Construction Industry and will be responsible for helping leading successful large and small, public and private Underground Utility Construction projects.

Underground Utility, Water Line, Storm Drain, Sewer, CMAR, JOC

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily construction needs and support the management team
  • Work with project managers and design professionals on schedule, change orders, & RFI’s
  • Help Maintain the project schedule and budget
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owners, Architects, and Contractors
  • Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
  • Help track and manage ongoing work in the field
  • Assist the field staff with receiving all required information needed to perform work in the field.
  • Help encourage an environment that promotes safety and safe working habits
  • Help manage project deliverables

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2+ years helping manage projects for reputable Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Earthworks, or Heavy Civil contractors
  • Experience with Projects focused on Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Heavy Civil Projects, Sewer, Storm, Water, Earthworks, Excavations
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related preferred, or equivalent field experience.
