Division Manager - {Heavy Civil Construction)
Tiello has partnered with a leading Heavy Civil Contractor who is looking for a Division Manager to build a new division in North Carolina that focuses on heavy highway/roadway as well as sitework projects valued anywhere from $2MM - $5MM for each project with a total of $30MM in project value in the North Carolina area.
Title: Division Manager (10 years of Heavy Civil Experience)
Project Types: Heavy Highway, Roadway, and Commercial/Residential Sitework
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate engineering projects from conception to completion
- Must have extensive knowledge of dirt, grade, and soil types in NC.
- Oversee a team of engineers and drafters, providing guidance and support
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Review and approve engineering designs, schematics, and technical documents
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Utilize software such as Revit, ArcGIS, and other engineering tools for project execution
- Lead efforts in wastewater treatment projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master`s degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- Proven experience in project management within the engineering field
- Strong technical writing skills for reports, proposals, and documentation
- Proficiency in ArcGIS for mapping and analysis
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
