Distribution Manager
Tiello has partnered with a well-established Industrial Manufacturer in Gilbert, AZ on their search for a Distribution Manager to work with the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow, manage personnel, and maintain accurate inventory records.
The Distribution Manager will oversee, monitor and maintain inventory, logistics, and cost management. The Manager will also work closely with the Vice President to manage client and supplier relations and operational efficiency.
Title: Distribution Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local safety and health regulations within the warehouse and distribution operations.
• Develop and manage work schedules and timesheets for warehouse staff.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of outgoing shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise the receipt of incoming materials and products. Ensure proper inspection, labeling, and storage in compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and transportation providers to coordinate deliveries.
• Monitor and enforce quality control measures to meet delivery deadlines and customer satisfaction standards.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years of experience as a Distribution Manager
• Proficiency in using WMS software to track inventory, shipments, and optimize workflows.
• Understanding of end-to-end logistics operations including shipping, receiving, routing, and freight coordination.
• Ability to onboard new hires and continuously train staff on updated procedures or safety protocols.
• Proven ability to oversee distribution budgets and control operational costs, ensuring profitability through strategic planning, vendor negotiation, and continuous performance analysis of logistics functions.
• Attention to detail in maintaining accurate shipment logs, inventory reports, and compliance records.
