About the Company

Tiello has partnered with one of the nation`s most respected hospitality developers and builders to identify a Project Coordinator to join their growing St. Louis team.

Unlike a traditional General Contractor, this company serves as the developer, owner, designer, builder, and long-term operator of its own hospitality portfolio. With more than 150 hotels across approximately 30 states, they maintain one of the most stable project pipelines in the industry through continuous ground-up development and planned renovations.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will support Project Managers throughout every phase of commercial construction, from preconstruction through project closeout.

This position offers direct exposure to project management, contract administration, scheduling, procurement, and project financials while preparing individuals for future Project Manager opportunities.

The ideal candidate is someone with 1–5 years of commercial construction experience who wants to continue developing their career within a collaborative and growth-oriented organization.

Key Responsibilities

Project Administration

  • Prepare and manage RFIs
  • Process submittals
  • Track change orders and Proposal Change Orders (PCOs)
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Support contract administration
  • Assist with procurement activities

Project Coordination

  • Support Project Managers on multiple commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate communication between owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Monitor project schedules and milestones
  • Assist with project closeout documentation

Project Management Support

  • Assist with budgeting and cost tracking
  • Support project scheduling efforts
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Gain exposure to commercial construction operations from preconstruction through completion

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of commercial construction experience
  • Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or similar experience preferred
  • Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree preferred
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow into Project Management
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality
