Compensation: $70,000 - $140,000 Base Salary

Company Overview:
Tiello has partnered with a well-established AISC Certified Structural Steel Fabricator seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across two fabrication facilities in Atlanta Metro, Georgia.
This leadership position will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the company`s maintenance program while driving equipment reliability, preventative maintenance initiatives, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Production, Operations, and Safety leadership, the Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing downtime, and supporting continued company growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance leader looking to build systems, mentor a maintenance team, and make a lasting impact within a growing structural steel fabrication operation.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance while continuing to develop a structured, scalable maintenance program that supports two active structural steel fabrication facilities. This individual will lead preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives, improve maintenance processes, manage maintenance personnel, and ensure fabrication equipment remains reliable and production-ready.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with hands-on leadership and a continuous improvement mindset to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continue developing the company`s maintenance program across multiple fabrication facilities
- Implement and improve preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability
- Develop standardized maintenance procedures, documentation, reporting systems, and key performance metrics
- Oversee maintenance and repair of structural steel fabrication equipment, CNC machinery, welding equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, compressors, dust collection systems, and facility infrastructure
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and support fabrication schedules
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective solutions
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while establishing accountability and performance expectations
- Coordinate with Production, Operations, Safety, and outside vendors to ensure efficient maintenance execution
- Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance purchasing, and equipment replacement planning
- Assist with maintenance budgeting and evaluate repair-versus-replacement decisions
- Support OSHA compliance, lockout/tagout procedures, equipment inspections, and safe maintenance practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment uptime, maintenance efficiency, and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience within structural steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership or management experience
- Experience developing, improving, and managing preventative maintenance programs
- Strong background troubleshooting industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Experience supporting CNC fabrication equipment, welding equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, compressors, and material handling systems
- Experience managing maintenance operations across multiple facilities preferred
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies and reliability-centered maintenance practices
- Experience with CMMS or maintenance management software
- Structural steel fabrication experience strongly preferred
- OSHA safety training or industrial maintenance certifications preferred
- Experience implementing or optimizing CMMS systems preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
