ABOUT TESSA

I started my career in sales and marketing, which gave me the chance to travel across the country, work with a variety of people, and learn the power of connection. But over time, I realized what truly mattered to me wasn’t the numbers or titles… It was helping people find purpose and opportunity. This is what led me into recruiting.

Over the past several years, I’ve focused on the manufacturing space, supporting roles in skilled trades, engineering, and leadership. I’ve worked with both established companies and startups, but the heart of the work has always been the same: success happens when people feel seen, understood, and aligned with what they do.

I hold a degree in Business with a minor in Psychology, which has given me a strong foundation in both organizational strategy and human behavior. Now, I’m pursuing a degree in Engineering to deepen my understanding of the manufacturing industry, this is not to change careers, but to better support the people and teams I work with. For me, it’s about speaking the same language, asking better questions, and showing up with both the knowledge and empathy it takes to truly connect.

Outside of work, I’m a mom of three, happiest when I’m outside, and spending time with those I love!

What is your favorite thing about the Manufacturing Industry?

It’s real. It’s fast-moving. It’s full of people who take pride in solving problems and building what the world relies on. I find it incredibly fulfilling supporting the people behind the progress.

What are some hobbies/Interests?

Spending time with my family, traveling, and learning new things. I love camping, hiking, swimming, anything that gets us outside. My favorite moments are hosting holidays and gatherings that bring friends and family together.

Favorite book or famous quote?

“The most important thing I’ve learned is that I don’t need to know everything - I just need to care enough to keep learning.”
- Brené Brown, researcher and author focused on empathy, leadership, and human connection.
