ABOUT CAITLIN

I’ve had the chance to live in some incredible cities—Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and now Phoenix, AZ. Growing up, sports were my world. Soccer was my main focus, and it eventually took me to Eastern Illinois University, where I played Division 1. Later, I was fortunate to play Professional American Football as a Wide Receiver in the LFL in both Chicago and Denver. Sports taught me resilience, discipline, and a drive that’s helped me face life’s challenges head-on. When it was time to hang up my cleats, I brought that same passion into construction recruiting, where I’m able to connect people with careers they’re excited about.

In 2022, life threw me some curveballs. I was diagnosed with a rare disease that left me paralyzed, and shortly after, I was also diagnosed with breast cancer. Facing these two battles, just months apart, was the fight of my life. But I’m now proud to call myself both a Breast Cancer SURVIVOR and an Autoimmune Disease WARRIOR . I’m incredibly grateful for how far I’ve come, both personally and professionally. And with the support of my amazing team at Tiello, I’m able to keep doing what I love—helping others find meaningful career paths.

What is your favorite thing about the Construction Industry?

I love the construction industry for how diverse and wide-open it is. There’s a role for every skill set, and it draws in people from so many walks of life. Whether it’s in infrastructure, green energy, or innovative new builds, there are endless opportunities and challenges to keep you growing and learning. It’s rewarding to be part of an industry where you can actually see the impact of people’s hard work out in the world.

What are some hobbies/Interests?

Anything sports-related is in my wheelhouse! I’ve played soccer my entire life, and going on to play D1 and then pro football was a dream come true. Now, even though I’m retired from competitive play, I’m always down for a pickup game or cheering on the sidelines. Sports will forever be my happy place and keep me grounded.
