ABOUT JENNA
I’m originally from Durham, North Carolina, and now live just down the road in Raleigh. After earning my degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I spent five years teaching elementary and middle school, including a year teaching on the island of Mallorca, Spain. In 2022, I decided to transition into construction recruiting and haven’t looked back. What I enjoy most about recruiting is getting to know people and helping them find the right next step in their careers. I love the problem solving that comes with understanding what both candidates and companies are looking for and finding the connection that fits. Over the past 3.5 years, I’ve recruited for ground-up commercial construction, tenant improvements, residential, and engineering, and I’m excited to now focus on the masonry and steel industries with Tiello. r. With a passion for networking and helping people, a career in recruiting was the perfect fit! I come to Tiello with a background recruiting in skilled trades.
What is your favorite thing about the Construction Industry?
My favorite thing about the construction industry is the relationships that come from it. There is nothing better than seeing someone that you’ve placed grow into a hiring manager or leader and getting to work with them again from a new perspective. I also love being able to see the tangible results of what my clients and candidates build. It is rewarding to know you played a small part in bringing projects to life.
What are some hobbies/Interests?
I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and have a huge travel bucket list. Some of my favorite trips so far have been to Ireland, Greece, Turkey, and Austria. This summer I got really into pickleball and competed in my first tournament in September, but I also enjoy reformer pilates and spin.
I’m a proud dog mom to my yellow lab, Chunk, and love to read. I’m always adding new books to my ever-growing library and typically read over a hundred books per year. I’m also a huge Swiftie, and a highlight of 2024 was seeing the Eras Tour in New Orleans.
