ABOUT BRAD

I grew up in a blue collar house in upstate New York where my childhood was filled with activities that fostered my love for the outdoors and athletics. I was also witness to two extremely hard working parents who through their disciplined efforts provided all the opportunities that I had. I was fortunate enough to be recruited to play division one lacrosse at Rutgers University and earned a degree in Environmental Policy. After graduation, I sold commercial insurance in the central and northern New Jersey Markets to small and midsize businesses, including multiple construction related businesses. In 2010, my wife, an elementary special education teacher, and I decided to move to Denver, CO, a city whose personality and activities truly align with ours. During this relocation, a friend provided the introduction to recruiting, an industry that complimented my background well. At first I was focused on the energy sector, but eight years ago I pivoted over to the building/construction material industry. Thirteen years later, my wife and I have made a home here in Denver with our two kids and two dogs and are loving life!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY?

I have a few favorite parts of the industry. One is the passionate people within this field who are from all backgrounds and all walks of life. Additionally, construction has always been an interesting business to me. Throughout my life I have had opportunities to see the industry from multiple perspectives. From working as a laborer during my summer breaks in college, to consulting construction companies on liability and risk assessment while working in commercial insurance, to the recruiting side where I have worked with the design and architectural community, product manufacturing, distribution companies and the general/subcontracting side of the business. I have observed how the whole industry comes together to build the USA.

WHAT ARE SOME HOBBIES/INTERESTS?

When I am not working, I am usually hanging with my family enjoying all of the activities that we love. That can be anything from skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, youth sports, coaching lacrosse, watching live sports, cooking, DIY projects around the house, playing guitar, reading, playing with our two rescue dogs or even fostering puppies.
