Fine Grading Superintendent
TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Heavy Civil Contractor in greater Charlotte, NC on their search for a Site Superintendent to work on commercial grading projects ranging in value up to $40MM.
The Site Superintendent will oversee the construction of the project in the field, providing leadership to field foremen and ensuring the successful completion of trade work. The
Superintendent will also work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely and quality completion of the construction process.

Project Types: Grading, Sitework, Excavation, Earthwork
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to perform all essential Superintendent job responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of construction projects
- Attend and participate in Safety Training Program and enforce safety procedures
- Prepare and maintain responsibility for job schedule
- Develop Owner, Architect, and other Contractors` confidence and attend meetings as required
- Review all drawings, specifications, and submittal
- Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
- Order materials and tools and plan supply allotment to maintain schedule
- Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
- Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
- Organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction team including those of other contractors
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent
- Experience supervising Commercial Grading projects
- Scheduling, RFI`s, Change Orders, Submittals Experience
- Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
