Job Title: Low Voltage Technician (Commercial)

Project Types: Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use, Retail, Tenant Improvements, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and service of access control, CCTV, IP/network cameras, security/fire alarms, and intercom systems.
  • Installation and servicing of various video surveillance solutions
  • Installing hardware devices like readers, electric locking hardware, exit devices, power supplies, and wiring.
  • Configuring IP networks for video surveillance and access control systems.
  • Maintaining certifications for camera and access control systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Mass D-License (preferred)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Systems aptitude or certifications in Avigilon, Brivo, Feenics, American Dynamics, or Verkada
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and responsible.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Leadership skills to guide and train apprentice-level technicians.
