Security Systems Technician

Job Title: Low Voltage Technician (Commercial)
Project Types: Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use, Retail, Tenant Improvements, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and service of access control, CCTV, IP/network cameras, security/fire alarms, and intercom systems.
- Installation and servicing of various video surveillance solutions
- Installing hardware devices like readers, electric locking hardware, exit devices, power supplies, and wiring.
- Configuring IP networks for video surveillance and access control systems.
- Maintaining certifications for camera and access control systems.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Mass D-License (preferred)
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Systems aptitude or certifications in Avigilon, Brivo, Feenics, American Dynamics, or Verkada
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and responsible.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Leadership skills to guide and train apprentice-level technicians.
