Senior Accountant (Las Vegas, NV)
Tiello has partnered with a highly regarded General Contractor on their search for a Senior Construction Accountant in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area who has experience with Construction Accounting.
Job Title: Senior Construction Accountant
Projects: Commercial Construction, Hospitality, Casino, Ground-Up, Interiors/Exterior Renovations
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company`s financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimize financial performance.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare financial reports, analyzing variances and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Review and approve financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in financial processes.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.
- Support external audits and ensure timely completion of tax filings and other financial obligations.
