Commercial Roofing Estimator

Tiello is proud to partner with a highly respected and fast-growing commercial roofing contractor in the Phoenix area to bring on a seasoned Commercial Roofing Estimator This key leadership role focuses on overseeing daily operations of the service division, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects, including new construction, re-roofs, and repairs. You’ll work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective estimates that align with our high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and roof plans to create detailed estimates.
• Prepare take-offs and cost estimates using Estimating Software or other similar platforms.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary pricing and scope details.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess existing roof conditions, measurements, and any challenges.
• Communicate with clients to clarify project needs, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Submit accurate bids and proposals within established deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, materials, and labor costs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roofing estimating.
• Strong understanding of various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Built-up, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
