Tiello has partnered with a highly regarded AISC Structural Steel Fabricator on the West Coast who is looking for a seasoned Vice President of Sales to join their team.
Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and expand their sales organization on the West Coast. The VP of Sales will play a critical role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, with direct accountability for increasing revenue, improving sales processes, and driving business growth. This role requires a visionary and hands-on leader with a proven ability to scale high-performing sales teams, implement modern sales technologies, and foster a culture of performance and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and forecasts that align with the company`s growth objectives.
- Drive new business development and revenue growth by identifying untapped market opportunities and maximizing existing customer potential.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team; define clear goals, manage performance, and foster a results-oriented culture.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and professional development of sales personnel to maintain a competitive and motivated team.
- Define and manage sales compensation, bonus structures, and incentive programs that support individual and team performance goals.
- Build and maintain key customer relationships; lead strategic client negotiations and support high-impact sales engagements.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Product Management to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Leverage market data, sales analytics, and customer feedback to refine strategies and support informed decision-making.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Salesforce as the primary CRM platform, ensuring full adoption, pipeline visibility, and data integrity across the sales organization.
- Establish and improve scalable, tech-driven sales processes that support growth, increase efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to executive leadership on sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in a senior sales leadership role with a consistent record of exceeding targets and driving business growth.
- Strong background in building and managing high-performing sales teams across multiple regions or markets.
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing Salesforce as a CRM solution, including user adoption, reporting, and workflow design.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of executive-level sales management experience; background in the janitorial or facility services industry is highly desirable.
- Technologically proficient, with deep experience in CRM platforms (Salesforce required), sales enablement tools, and data-driven sales strategies.
