Position: Traveling Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Location: Southeast, Southwest & Mid-Atlantic Regions (Heavy Travel Required)

Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Tiello is proud to partner with a leading commercial roofing contractor to bring on an experienced Traveling Commercial Roofing Superintendent. This role focuses exclusively on commercial reroofing projects—managing crews, overseeing daily field operations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Operations: Supervise and coordinate crews of 3–6 employees, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
• Travel Leadership: Oversee projects across multiple regions, adapting quickly to new sites and client requirements.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Manage labor schedules, site logistics, and material coordination.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor expenses, control overtime, and maintain strong project margins.
• Technology Use: Utilize Procure (or similar software) for scheduling, reporting, and workflow management.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA and fall protection standards, ensuring all crews follow safety protocols.
• Client & Team Communication: Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and executives to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in a superintendent or senior field leadership role within commercial reroofing (no new construction).
• Travel Readiness: Comfortable with regular travel across the Southeast, Southwest, and Mid-Atlantic.
• Federal/Municipal Projects: Preferred experience with schools, government, or public facilities.
• Tech Skills: Proficient with Procure or similar construction management software.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage crews, coordinate schedules, and deliver projects on time.
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and fall protection requirements.
