Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent
Tiello is excited to partner with a highly respected and fast-growing commercial roofing contractor to find an experienced Traveling Commercial Roofing Superintendent. This position is based out of Atlanta, GA, but requires travel throughout the Southeastern U.S. to manage multiple projects. In this role, you will oversee the execution of roofing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a crew of 3-6 employees, including foremen and labor teams, to ensure seamless execution of projects from start to finish, regardless of location.
- Project Planning: Develop and manage daily labor schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation for each project while traveling between job sites.
- Financial Accountability: Maintain control of project margins by monitoring costs, managing purchase orders, and controlling overtime.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce all safety protocols, with an emphasis on fall protection and OSHA compliance, ensuring the safety of your crew across different sites.
- Hands-On Support: Provide on-site leadership and support to your team, troubleshooting issues and stepping in as needed to maintain project momentum.
- Fleet Management: Ensure that all drivers maintain a clean MVR. You will be provided with a company vehicle and gas card to facilitate travel between job sites.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure that each project meets company expectations for quality and client satisfaction.
- Business Ethics & Integrity: Uphold the company’s core values by acting with professionalism and integrity in all aspects of your work, especially while representing the company on the road.
Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience in commercial roofing or construction management, with a preference for candidates experienced in managing multiple job sites.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment, especially in a traveling role.
- Safety Focused: Deep knowledge of safety protocols and fall protection standards is a must, with a proven track record of maintaining a safe work environment.
- Organizational Acumen: Ability to juggle multiple projects, manage paperwork, and stay organized while traveling and managing various job sites across the Southeast.
