About the Role:

Tiello has partnered with a leading Automotive Service provider in the Phoenix area to find a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic. This position is perfect for someone with strong expertise in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair and diagnostics. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and Repair: Address mechanical issues across a wide range of vehicles, including those with diesel engines.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform essential maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use Tools & Equipment: Utilize hand tools, powertrain systems, and diagnostic tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Accurate Diagnostics: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify and solve vehicle problems with precision.
• Collaborate: Work closely with team members to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed on time.
• Customer Communication: Provide clear explanations of vehicle needs and repair recommendations to customers.
• Maintain Safety: Keep a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with new automotive technologies and repair methods.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role within a dealership or automotive repair setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Diesel engine repair experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools, powertrain systems, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
