Tiello is partnering with a leading Metal Fabrication Manufacturer in Manteca, CA on their search for a Shipping Supervisor to manage daily outbound logistics and shipping operations at their HVAC and construction products facility. This company plays a critical role in supplying ductwork and custom metal components across the region and is looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all outbound shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring orders are fulfilled safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of shipping processes, and the ability to guide and support a warehouse team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shipping & Logistics Operations:

• Manage day-to-day outbound shipping operations across the warehouse and loading dock.
• Coordinate daily shipping schedules to meet customer deadlines and delivery targets.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation (BOLs, packing slips, etc.) for all shipments.
• Communicate with freight providers, internal departments, and clients to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Monitor outbound freight for accuracy and report discrepancies or delays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant shipping area.
• Utilize ERP or inventory management systems to track outgoing materials and ensure stock accuracy.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

• Supervise shipping personnel, assign tasks, and manage workloads to meet performance goals.
• Train new team members on company procedures, safety standards, and shipping best practices.
• Support team morale and ensure effective communication across shifts and departments.
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes, freight logistics, and shipping documentation.
• Experience operating forklifts and managing warehouse equipment (certification a plus).
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
