Location: South Florida – Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties

Compensation: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Tiello has partnered with a leading General Contractor in the Broward County, FL area who is seeking a Service Technician to join their team who has experience with Commercial Construction Projects.

Position Summary: Responsible for hands-on installs and repairs to warranty work, service work, and small projects by performing some of the following duties: installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment or systems at job sites or within company facilities. This role requires technical proficiency, carpentry, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Projects: Commercial Construction/Restaurant/Hospitality

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment or systems according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards, to include painting, carpentry, waterproofing, demolition, and other labor, as needed.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Document service and installation activities using service reports and records
• Provide technical support and training to customers, ensuring proper use of equipment
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and functional condition
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
• Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and service techniques through training and certifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma or associate degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building construction trades
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver`s license and clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks
