Company Overview:

Tiello is partnered with a highly regarded Speciality Underground Utility Contractor based in Phoenix, AZ, in their search for a Senior Estimator (Wet Underground Utility Construction) to support their Underground Wet Utility Construction Operations.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the Underground Utility, Civil, or Heavy Civil Construction Industry and will be responsible for Estimating successful large and small, Underground Wet Utility Construction projects.

Underground Pipelines, Utilities, Wet Utilities, Heavy Civil Projects, Storm, Sewer, Water

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all essential Senior Estimator job responsibilities
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price
• Develop Accurate Material, Equipment, and Labor Estimates
• Negotiate cost-effective contract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Maintain the project schedule and budget
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Develop strong working relationships with Clientele and Contractors

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5+ years Estimating projects for reputable Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Earthworks, or Heavy Civil contractors
• Experience Estimating Projects focused on Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Heavy Civil Projects, Underground Pipelines, Utilities, Wet Utilities, Heavy Civil Projects, Storm, Sewer, Water
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related preferred, or equivalent field experience.
