Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable General Contractor in Greater Washington, DC on their search for a Sales Representative with experience in commercial and light industrial construction.

As a Sales Representative, your main responsibility will be to generate and maintain new and existing business by making cold calls, following up on warm leads, and visiting potential clientele at job sites.

Job Title: Sales Representative (Construction)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all responsibilities of a Sales Representative including but not limited to the following:

  • Drive sales through the growth of existing clients
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Develop new relationships within the commercial construction community
  • Achieve/exceed targeted new commercial calls per month within a specified territory
  • Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling, networking and client/associate referrals
  • Responsible for the solicitation of project documents and information
  • Maintain acceptable profit margins

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
  • 2+ years sales experience in the construction industry.
  • Commercial Project Experience
