Refrigeration Service Manager (Supermarket)

Position: Refrigeration Service Manager - Supermarket Systems

Location: South Florida (Miami / Fort Lauderdale / West Palm Beach)

Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000/year + Bonus + Company Vehicle

Tiello is proudly partnered with a leading Refrigeration contractor expanding their service operations across South Florida. We are actively seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Manager with deep knowledge of supermarket systems (rack refrigeration, EMS controls, walk-ins, CO2 systems) to lead field teams and oversee customer operations in the region.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and is ready to take ownership of technician performance, customer satisfaction, and service delivery across major grocery retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations for a team of supermarket refrigeration service technicians
• Coordinate service scheduling, on-call coverage, and emergency dispatch
• Manage customer relationships and ensure service contract compliance
• Mentor technicians and support technical troubleshooting/escalations
• Collaborate with internal leadership on manpower planning, hiring, and retention
• Monitor performance KPIs, service backlogs, and preventative maintenance plans
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance (EPA, OSHA, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of leadership in commercial refrigeration service
• Deep knowledge of rack systems, EMS (Emerson, Danfoss), walk-ins, and CO2 systems
• Experience managing techs across multi-site grocery or retail clients
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• EPA Universal Certification required; OSHA-30 preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to travel throughout South Florida
