Quality Control Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction
TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Top 50 ENR General Contractor in the Greater Los Angeles Area on their search for a Quality Control Engineer with direct experience on Heavy Civil and Horizontal Construction Projects.
Job Title: Quality Control Engineer (3+ yrs exp)
Project Types: Heavy Civil, Transportation, Rail, Train Stations, Tunnels, Highways
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct experience with Quality Control, and assisting the Quality Control Manager
- Proven ability to handle all field engineer responsibilities
- This role will engage across all projects including review/production of design and construction documents, implementation of QA/QC during construction through review of submittals, RFIs, and review/inspection/testing of ongoing work in the field.
- The ideal candidate has a background overseeing subcontractors and a focus in field supervision
- Collaborate closely with internal and external team members including consultants, A/E professionals, owners, and trade partners while continually striving to elevate the construction process through creating remarkable experiences for all involved.
Skills & Qualification:
- 3+ years of Quality Control or Field Engineer Experience for a reputable General Contractor
- 3+ years of experience on Heavy Civil, Transportation, Highway, Tunneling, or Train Station Projects
- B.S. in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering/Architecture or recognized industry credentials
- A passion for the Construction Industry and a drive to progress in the Field towards QC Manager and/or Superintendent
