Project Manager (Heavy Civil/Site Development)

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Heavy Civil / Site Development Contractor in the Charlotte, NC area on their search for a Project Manager to oversee Site Development Construction Projects ranging in value from $20MM+.

Job Title: Project Manager - Heavy Civil / Site Development (3+ years)

Project Types: Civil, Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Water, Sewer, Storm, Excavation, Public Works for Commercial and Residential Projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Multiple Civil Projects
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Oversee & Manage the project schedules and budgets
• Oversee, Develop and Maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Manage project deliverables
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years as a Project Manager for a Reputable Civil Contractor.
• Experience with Civil and Underground Wet Utility Projects
