Project Manager (Commercial Construction)
Tiello has partnered with a highly regarded Commercial General Contractor in Raleigh, NC area on their search for a Project Manager to work on Commercial Construction Projects ranging in value up to $10 Million.
Job Title: Project Manager (Commercial Construction)
Project Types: Commercial, Entertainment, Public Works, Office Buildings, Medical, Municipalities
PRIMARY DUTIES include but are not limited to:
- Able to perform all essential Project Manager job responsibilities
- Experience and comfort performing Assistant Project Manager’s and Project Engineer’s responsibilities
- Maintain the project schedule and budget
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Contractors
- Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
- Work with estimating, helping establish budgets and contract price
- Negotiate cost-effective contracts and material purchases
- Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
- Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
- Manage project deliverables
- Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
