Title: Project Manager

Location: Wayne, NJ

Salary Range: $140K-$150K

Project Types: Multi-Family and Hotel Experience

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor/ Construction Manager in the Wayne, NJ area on their search for a Project Manager with experience in Multi-Family and Hotels.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and vendors

- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

- Hold contractors accountable for safety of their technicians

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts

- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, progress, and adherence to project plans

- Provide guidance and support to construction teams, resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and change orders

- Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role with projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices

- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore)

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles

- Ability to recognize work outside of the original scope of work and experience with construction estimating to provide information for change order

- Familiarity with construction schedules
