Project Manager - Public Works & Educational Construction
TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor focused in the Public Works and Educational Construction Sector in the greater Anaheim Area on their search for a Project Manager to work on Ground-Up and Renovation Public Works and Educational Construction projects.
Job Title: Project Manager (Public Works Construction)
Project Types: Public Works, Educational, K-12, DSA
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct Project Team and Field Personnel through all essential job responsibilities.
- Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
- Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
- Oversee & Direct the project schedules and budgets
- Oversee and Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
- Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
- Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
- Manage project deliverables
- Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
Skills & Qualification:
- 4+ years managing projects for a reputable general contractor(s).
- Public Works, Educational, K-12, DSA Project Experience
- Positive Attitude, and a leader for the team
