Project Engineer (Underground Utilities)
Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable local Speciality Civil Contractor in the Greater Phoenix Arizona Area on their search for a Project Engineer with experience and interest in the Construction and Installation of Underground Utilities.
Job Title: Project Engineer (6+ months Underground Pipelines, Utilities, Wet Utilities, Storm, Sewer, Water, etc...)
Project Types: Underground Pipelines, Utilities, Wet Utilities, Heavy Civil Projects, Storm, Sewer, Water, Telecommunications, Electrical, Dry Utilities)
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to perform all essential Project Engineer job responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction needs and support the management team
- Work with project managers and design professionals on schedule, change orders, & RFI’s
- Help Maintain the project schedule and budget
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owners, Architects, and Contractors
- Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
- Help track and manage ongoing work in the field
- Assist the field staff with receiving all required information needed to perform work in the field.
- Help encourage an environment that promotes safety and safe working habits
- Help manage project deliverables
Skills & Qualification:
- 6+ months helping manage projects for reputable Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Earthworks, or Heavy Civil contractors
- Experience with Projects focused on Underground Utilities, Wet Utilities, Heavy Civil Projects, Sewer, Storm, Water, Earthworks, Excavations
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related preferred, or equivalent field experience.
