Tiello is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance for a dynamic and growing organization. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on accuracy, organization, and teamwork while ensuring employees are supported and company standards are met.
What You’ll Do
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll with precision and timeliness
- Prepare and submit monthly union reports and benefit invoices
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, updates, and annual open enrollment
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with ACA and other regulations
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare annual EEO and other required reports
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing payroll and benefit data
- Interpret and apply Collective Bargaining Agreements as they relate to payroll and benefits
- Collaborate with internal teams to support inter-company reporting and data accuracy
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED (some accounting coursework preferred)
- 2+ years of payroll and/or benefits administration experience
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes, general ledger principles, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, professional attitude
- Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
