Title: Lead Low Voltage Technician

Location: Lexington, KY

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000.00

Tiello has partnered with an established low-voltage contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions and are seeking a lead low-voltage technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation of low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings.
  • CAt5/Ca5, Structured Cabling, Access Control, CCTV
  • Assist with installations to move project along and/or close out a project.
  • As a Foreman/Field Superintendent/Field Supervisor, provide direction and guidance to installation teams on-site, coordinate project activities, and communicate with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Meet with code officials to arrange for building permits, address code issues, and discuss wiring and installation methods.
  • Coordinate project activities with other trades at the work locations to optimize installation time.
  • Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.

Qualifications

  • CAt5/Ca5, Structured Cabling, Access Control, CCTV
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Experience with construction management software is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to and oversee job sites as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. in field environments.

Additional Information

  • Occasional travel to project sites will be required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
