Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: Greensboro, NC

Compensation: $80,000.00-120,000.00 + Bonuses

Tiello has partnered with an established electrical contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions and are seeking a electrical estimator.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for commercial electrical projects
• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions
• Reviewing material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components
• Preparing reports and presentations to explain estimates and proposals
• Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate creation to ensure accuracy
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, including new software and technologies, to increase efficiency and accuracy in the estimating process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing safety protocols
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Experience with construction management software is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel to and oversee job sites as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. in field environments.

Additional Information

• Occasional travel to project sites will be required.
